RattanIndia’s subsidiary Revolt Motors opened its EV dealership in Bangalore. Furthermore. The dealership was inaugurated by the CEO of Revolt Motors - Jenender Anand. The electric bike manufacturer has seen a robust demand for its electric bikes in the festive season. This rise is also due to a sudden increase in petrol prices. Revolt’s electric bikes come with a running cost as low as Rs 9 per 100 kms thereby providing great savings for its customers. 


Revolt’s flagship model RV400 comes equipped with a 3 kW (mid-drive) motor powered by a 72V, 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery that generates a top speed of 85 kmph. Suspension duties are taken care of by upside down forks upfront and a fully-adjustable monoshock towards the rear. 

Besides this, the bike can be operated with the MyRevolt app. Talking about this app, it offers a host of connectivity features like the bike locator/geo fencing, complete bike diagnostic, historical data on your rides, customised sounds that you can change by tapping on the screen, and option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap your Revolt’s battery. You can even lock and unlock the bike using the rider’s smartphone as a virtual key. In order to do this, you will have to open the app on your phone and slide the power button from left to right. This will further switch on the bike. Moving on, the RV400 comes with three riding modes namely Eco, Normal and Sport.
